Dance Dance Revolution at Festival of Fantasy 2006

DDR is always successful and attracts many new players and spectators as well. Age is not important, you can begin with DDR whenever you want and Fantasy Festival will help you with it. So?




	Looking back

	Year 2004 - Fantasy Festival First bits of DDR at the Festival and the first DDR players. There was one DDR stand in the hall behind the entrance and the first tournament was organized. Zirland was the winner that time, the second was we-don't-know-who, the third was Trewor and I was the fourth. (or was it Trewor second and me third?) Anyway, it was one difficulty tournament and it was very tied. Photos Year 2004 - Special Players from Fantasy Festival and many newcomers went to this event. Xsoft was taking care of DDR for the whole Fantasy Festival. He also created DDR forum and began spreading informations about DDR among the people in the Czech Republic. Thanks, Xsoft! If I remember correctly we sucessfully organized Guillame tell traditional tournament. Many people went crazy about Yatta song. (no, you don't want to know what it is) I didn't know about any tournament there, but it didn't matter. DDR was in a conference room near the bar in KD Junior. Photos \| Info for beginners (.ppt presentation) Year 2005 - Fantasy Festival First large meeting of all DDR players from all over the Czech Republic and god, there were so many new players. Many events and evil photos, 5 tournaments (two beginner tournaments, medium one, hard one and a funny one) two stands - again in the corridor at the entrance and in the Aquarium. Playing outside was unfortunately forbidden. We were already representing us as Czech DDR and everyone recognized us because of black T-shirts with our nicks written on it. First Fan films and videos were screened. First awards were given away. Photos \| Info for beginners (.ppt presentation) Year 2005 - Special Xsoft prepared an entertaining evening called "Follow the Arrow" and it stays in our memories until today ... :o) On the other hand there were two tournaments, beginner one and hard one. Diplomas and pexesos were given away as prizes. DDR was in aquarium and in corridor behind entrance door. The stand was there accessible almost nonstop. Many new modifications were invented and tried.
